Stay-at-Home Mom's Filling an Executive Niche

Read an interesting article today on a relativly new professional possibility for highly-trained stay-at home Mom's. It involves a special kind of temp work known as the "mommy SWAT team," an acronym which stands for "smart women with available time." These are all-mom teams assembled quickly through networking and staffing firms to handle high-level crash projects.

Participants have included Ph.D.'s, MBA's, attorneys, former executives, etc. who are willing to work for lower rates because their main motive is to keep their skills fresh, having left the work force voluntarily when there careers were on the ascent.
